The vision behind our Behold House of Prayer was inspired by Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I asked of the Lord. That I will seek afteR: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all of the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of hte Lord and to inquire in his temple" (Psalm 27:4).
In the midst of all his responsibilities, King David’s greatest desire was to dwell in the presence of God. This desire was not a momentary passion, but a lifetime goal. More than anything else, he longed for intimacy and union with Him. This desire ultimately led David to establish the “Tabernacle of David,” where the Ark of the Covenant rested in an open tent surrounded by musicians, singers, and intercessors offering unceasing worship.
In that same spirit, we’ve dedicated a time and space for our community to come and behold the Beloved through praise and prayer.
